For the first time in history a country has rejected its own independence. Fear bested hope. I saw a Scotsman on television say “I don’t think we could have stood on our own two feet.” I witnessed Scots jumping up and down, cheering that they rejected the one chance to…
To all my Glasgow friends: avoid George Square tonight. It’s all kicking off between Yes and No voters. Stay safe.
If you’d rather go to a club than a museum, you deserve to be unhappy.
museum? what the fuck is in a museum? they got bitches in museums? alive bitches?
Despite being a Yes voter myself, I can still agree that the Yes voters over the duration of the referendum campain have been far more vocal and slightly rowdy/rebelious than any of the silent No voters. Stickers, graffiti and similar things used to promote voting Yes.
I called it…
I’ve been shot, and stabbed, and healed, and my body has been dragged all over the Earth. By some miracle I’m out, and I am done. I’ve given enough, okay?
The first stabbings have just took place in George Square, the streets are like a war zone right now. I cannot say this enough, please stay indoors if you are in the Glasgow area tonight. Keep yourself safe, your life is far more important than our independence.
ok so basically we had a referendum vote to see if we wanted independence
for a while it was really close and people were pretty much 50/50 on the decision
the votes came in at about 45% for yes and 55% for no
there was a lot of media bias by the bbc for the no campaign tbh
and nows there a few videos of whats to be believed people rigging the vote
now in glasgow unionists are rioting and targeting yes voters and doing nazi salutes and burning saltires
theres a chance it could escalate and spread to other towns as well
basically look at the stuff we’re reblogging and try educating yourself and please signal boost what is happening!!
Twilight may be trash but at least they cast actual native americans to play natives
Teenager from India invents device that can convert breath to speech
A high school student from India has invented a device that can convert a person’s breath into speech, to give millions of people around the world suffering from speech impediment a ‘voice’ for the first time.
Sixteen-year-old Arsh Shah Dilbagi has developed a new technology called ‘TALK’, which is a cheap and portable device to help people who are physically incapable of speaking express themselves. Right now, 1.4 percent of the world’s population has very limited or no speech, due to conditions such as Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), locked-in syndrome (LIS), Encephalopathy (SEM), Parkinson’s disease, and paralysis.
His name is Arsh Shah Dilbagi and he’s 16 years old. Gettin tired of sensationalized “mystery baby from a country where people are brown does a science thing!” articles. Use peoples names, don’t act so surprised when people of color are geniuses.
44% of the audience of Guardians of the Galaxy is female and all the speculation states that women went to see it for Chris Pratt’s body. I don’t think that’s fair. Maybe (and this is crazy) they just like kickass movies with space shit and explosions. Maybe women can do things without men being their motivation. Maybe.
I WENT FOR THE TALKING RACCOON MOTHAFUCKAS
